I write this article from the comfort of my Lazy-pants (the Father has a Lazy-boy so I decided that these snow pants a careless child has so thoughtfully left out for me could be easily called a Lazy-pants) .

I have to say that I am still not quite myself.  I seem to have done a real number to my front paw.  It has been feeling a lot better lately but I decided to keep off it.  The warm milk is just too good.  I know that as soon as I am back to normal that little luxury is going to stop.  I have it worked out so well that I sometimes have two kids giving me milk in a day.  If I look really sad and mournful at night a big guy with a beard slips me another bowl before he heads up to bed.  He likes to talk big but he is just a big softy.

In one of my wanderings around the house this week (I have to keep myself limber) I noticed a smallish contraption set out in front of the porch.  Later I heard the biggest ones talking about catching that possum with it.  I have to say, I was rather shocked.  I was quite sure that I had taken care of him.  When I left him he had keeled right over; looked very, very dead to me.   Anyways, IF he wasn’t actually dead and IF they hope to catch him with that little contraption, they are in for a bit of surprise.  That possum was HUGE!  He will never fit in that little trap.  They also need to put in something a little more appetizing.  What is in there now is quite frozen and he seems to like fresh meat.  Just sayin’…

Anyways, I am glad that they are being pro-active.  I would take care of him myself but I need to stay off my paw for a couple more weeks.  If you would be so kind as to distribute the wanted poster I made up, it would be much appreciated.  I try to do my part.
